Whether care is covered by your insurance or provided privately, it follows the same principle: a written care plan, a quote before starting, and reassessments at each stage.
Physiotherapy on prescription
Billed at the agreed tariff and reimbursed by your Swiss basic or accident insurance. The techniques used during the session are included.
Regenerative programmes
Focused shockwave, MBST®, EMTT®, laser and the LIRA-Ortho® protocol, combined in programmes set after assessment.

Basic and accident insurance
Physiotherapy on medical prescription, at the agreed tariff. Deductible and co-payment according to your policy.
Supplementary insurance
May contribute to private services, depending on your policy. A prescription and prior approval are often required.
International insurance
Consultation by appointment (self-referral), subject to your insurer's conditions. A detailed invoice is provided for you to submit; please mention it when booking.
Private services
In Swiss francs. Private services are available by appointment. For any programme, a written quote is provided after the assessment; it is valid for 10 days. Private services are paid in advance.
Regenerative programmes
Set after assessment, according to the condition and its stage. Focused shockwave sessions included in a programme are discounted by 20%; medical procedures are not included in the discount.
Up to 5 additional sessions included if needed
PRP, injections and medical procedures: billed by Dr Massimo Donalisio, according to the procedure. PRP kit depending on the area treated: CHF 200.00 – 300.00.
Before your appointment
I have a medical prescription. What do I pay?
Your physiotherapy sessions are billed to your insurer at the agreed tariff. You pay only your deductible and co-payment.
Do the techniques used in the session cost extra?
No. They are included in the fee for the physiotherapy session on prescription.
Which regenerative therapy is right for me?
It depends on your condition and its stage. After the assessment, we propose a programme and a written quote.
Why a programme rather than individual sessions?
Regenerative therapies work over time. The programme sets the sessions, reassessments and total cost from the outset.
Are programmes reimbursed?
Not by basic insurance. Some supplementary insurers contribute depending on the policy: check before starting, with the quote in hand.
Can I combine physiotherapy and a regenerative programme?
Yes. Covered physiotherapy and private services are invoiced separately.
Do I need a medical prescription?
Physiotherapy is provided on medical prescription. Preventive services are intended for healthy people; in case of pain or injury, we refer you to a medical consultation.
How do quotes and payment work?
A written quote is provided before any private service. It is valid for 10 days. Private services are paid in advance.
What if I need to cancel?
Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance, and by Thursday at the latest for a Monday appointment. Otherwise, the appointment is charged.
