Precision, guided by imaging.
Since 2017, ITU Clinic has practised ultrasound-guided invasive physiotherapy in Nyon, treating the source of pain with high-precision ultrasound-guided procedures. Within the CIRA® framework, each technique targets the tissue directly to restart repair and restore function.
Our ultrasound-guided techniques
Targeted, controlled procedures drawing on more than twenty years of experience by Jon Iturralde, a member of the ASFI (Swiss Association of Invasive Physiotherapy).
Under ultrasound guidance, EPI® precisely targets the tendons to be treated and restarts a localised repair process. A technique used in particular for chronic tendinopathies.
Precise treatment of trigger points aims to release muscle tension, relieve pain and improve range of motion.
Under ultrasound guidance, percutaneous neuromodulation applies targeted stimulation to the nerve involved, to modulate pain, improve neuromuscular function and refine movement control.
Based on a neurophysiological understanding of pain, it modulates nerve signals and supports tissue regulation.
High-definition ultrasound guidance
High-definition ultrasound imaging guides and secures every procedure, in real time and as close as possible to the target structure. A dynamic assessment of the tissue that makes each intervention precise, controlled and personalised.
Treating the source, with precision.
Every programme begins with a personalised assessment, to build a tailored strategy.
